The Flemish folk scene is thriving with incredible talent. With so many outstanding bands active in Flanders, selecting the nominees was no easy task for the jury. After careful deliberation and thoughtful consideration, FFN is proud to present the nominees for the fifth edition of the Flanders Folk Awards.

Awards are granted in 4 categories: Best Album, Best Live Band, Horizon (promising bands & innovative projects) and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Everyone can join the race: whether you're a band taking your first steps in the music world, an artist exploring new creative paths, or a seasoned musician with countless tour miles under your belt. Even those who delivered their finest work in the past year are in the running. Last year, for the first time, a special honor was given to an individual whose remarkable achievements and lasting influence have shaped the folk scene, a heartfelt recognition of a long career.
